Black Mountain (La Montagne Noire) It presents 2 very different faces: the north side, steep, covered with dark
forests of oaktrees and firtrees. The south side which presents similarity to
the mediterranean landscape, covered with chestnut trees, olive trees and very
dry areas, yet it’s whereall the rivers of the area flow. |

Castelnau-de-Montmiral Classified among the most beautiful village of France. Overhanging the Vere valley, Castelneau de Montmiral is located in the heart of the Gaillac vineyard. This bastide was built by Raymond VII, count of Toulouse. In its church, lodges the croos of the Armagnc counts, which adorned of 310 gems. |

Cité de Carcassonne This town is surrounded by thick ramparts since the Middle Age. According to the occitane legend, the town was named after the sarrasin princess “Dame Carcasse”.

Gastronomy Here, in the Lauragais, you are in the crib of the famous and traditional
dish: Cassoulet. In many places, you can enjoy the richness of the french culinary
treasures : Confit, roasted duck breast, foie gras, Toulouse sausage and, of
